Did you know that there are installation standards for hardwood flooring? The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) in partnership with the North American Oak Flooring Manufacturers’ Association (NOFMA) have guidebooks and standards for professional installers. These standards are meant to ensure that a high quality product, when properly installed will last for generations.

As a member f the NWFA, Summit Custom Hardwood Flooring’s personnel are expected to adhere to these standards in order to provide you, our client, with a worry-free, high quality final product.

We install both unfinished and prefinished hardwood flooring in residential homes, high rise condos, basements, cabins…you get the idea. We also do commercial projects.

We also clad staircases. One of the most dramatic transformations of a home occurs when the carpet is pulled off a set of stairs and replaced with beautiful hardwood treads, risers, stringers, and capping.

And of course, Summit is well known for our custom work. Inlays, borders, medallions, and signature floors are all available for you. We look forward to speaking with you about your project.
