The AKSBraemar Electric Line Perforating Gun Gauge Assembly was designed to withstand the shock of perforating guns firing by utilizing a vertical and radial shock absorber system.
The Memory Recorders will store pressures and temperatures while running in the hole below the perforating guns. Once the guns are at depth the Memory Recorders quickly stabilize and record hydrostatic pressure and temperature prior to detonating the guns. Once the guns are fired, the gauges will measure virgin formation pressures and temperatures and will continue to monitor pressures and temperatures until pulled out of the hole.
The electronics have been designed, tested and calibrated to offer the highest degree of accuracy, while offering the end user the lower power consumption of any gauge in the market today.
We also know that the accuracy of any electronic instrument in 100% dependent on the care taken during calibration. This is why AKSBraemar utilizes one of the most advanced calibration chambers and dead-weight testers available in today’s market.
Even after calibration is complete, our Quality Control procedures dictate that the gauge must meet our minimum requirements during the curve fit or it will be rejected, re-inspected, repaired and recalibrated. The AKSBraemar hardware is also subjected to our high standards in Quality Inspection and must meet our minimum tolerance specifications. In addition to a high quality material that comes with full material data sheets and traceability, we also subject the main body of our gauge to a Nitrate coating procedure that eliminates any chance of thread galling.
