Water Resources Monitoring Systems
Thanks to our partnerships with Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) and Woodard & Curran, we
have gained significant experience in developing multiple Water Resources Monitoring Systems
which are in use by Orange County (Florida) Utilities and the Water Conserv II facility, respectively.
These systems consist of a Web Application that functions as a browser-based user
interface; the Web Service which allows the web application to interface with a SQL database;
a Handheld Application which allows field data collection using a handheld device; and, a SQL
Server Database which stores the data collected. Typical data consist of flow volumes (meter
readings of groundwater pumpage, aquifer recharge, irrigation consumption), rainfall, water levels
(surface waters and groundwater) and water qualilty sampling results (both field and laboratory analysis).
These systems have been proven to reduce costs while increasing
accuracy and availability of critical field data and improve water resources management
decision making through timely and extensive reporting options. We will be
happy to review your needs to see how we can help your organization.
