MD of Foothills No.31 | 2011 Christmas Assistance Program

Each year at this time, the MD staff, Council and volunteers hold a silent auction at the MD of Foothills Christmas Party to raise money for those local families that could use a hand up at Christmas. Families with children under 18 years may apply before December 12, 2011 for the Christmas Assistance Program. Many businesses support this goodwill program through donations to the Annual Silent Auction.


MD of Foothills No.31 | Residents

The MD of Foothills maintains over 2,000 kilometers of roads, but there are also some county roads that are not maintained by the county - no grading or snow plowing. It is the responsibility of pipeline owners to ensure existing lines crossing or on municipal rights-of-way is signed to warn of their presence.
