We are currently developing our in-house software package "Simply Cool - Thermal Prediction Suite" for thermal engineering and performance prediction of air cooled compact heat exchangers; like radiators, gas, oil, glycol, fuel and charge air coolers. Our target customers are engine manufacturers, manufacturers of radiators and cooling equipment for oil and gas industry, gen set manufacturers and simply all others where heat transfer is daily bread and butter. The software serves as a design tool for sizing and thermal design. The thermal layout of heat exchangers works with single, side-by-side and front-to-back configurations in correlation to fan and engine requirements. It will help the user to optimize heat transfer and takes different fan configurations (fixed blade, variable speed, variable pitch) into consideration. Graphical layouts in diagram forms will provide a throughout understanding of the cooling regiment not only at design layout but also for simulations of lower ambient temperatures in regards to energy saving requirements.

The algorithmus is based on and comprised of the newest findings and research results in air cooled technology and our in-house experience. We will keep the main algorithm independent from individual manufacturers and offer plug-in technology of core configurations to our customers in order to protect their intellectual property. We will assist our customers to set up performance confirmation tests and data regression procedures.
