An elderly B.C. man says a provincial health authority stripped him and his wife of their legal and financial rights after he complained bitterly about his wife’s care in the long-term care wing of a local hospital. Theft Issues | Elder Advocates Of Alberta Society

Police arrested a 47-year-old man Friday morning in connection with the theft of rings from the fingers of an elderly woman in Vancouver General hospital. Sanjeeta Gill, a 21 year old woman who stole cheques and credit cards from the elderly in three Edmonton, Alberta area nursing homes was sentenced. Konstanty and Josephine Stankiewicz are upright, honorable persons who have done their best to be good Alberta citizens.

Abuse & Neglect Studies | Elder Advocates Of Alberta Society

A Canadian citizen was apprehended by police on the behest of a family member and detained at the Royal Alexandra, only to be released after intervention from a lawyer. Convenant Health is almost completely eliminating professional registered nurses from direct care positions at the Youville Nursing Home. We have been informed that Ms. Weber was sent a letter stating that she was no longer able to park her scooter inside the building.
