Eco Stations are comprehensive waste drop-off facilities.

Eco Stations are comprehensive waste drop-off facilities:

  • Bring your household recyclables such as newspaper, metal cans, milk jugs and more!
Eco Stations cannot accept:
  • Commercial hazardous waste
  • Commercial biomedical waste
  • Expired medications
  • Explosives
  • Radioactive waste
  • Munitions
  • Fireworks
  • Pressurized gases

Take home some free paint. Usable paint is offered to customers free of charge (limit 4 cans/visit - quality not guaranteed). Since 1995 over 350,000 litres of free paint has been given away.

New Eco Station opens in southwest Edmonton!

The new Ambleside Eco Station, located at 14710 Ellerslie Road SW, is now open. It is the largest of the three Eco Stations, with more room for traffic and materials processing. The building incorporated green technologies such as solar panels to heat water.

Also, a full reuse operation will be a feature at this station.
