Your counsellor will help you define your counselling goals, track your progress, and maintain the changes you have made. Joanne understands that you know what is best for you and your family. She will work with you to help you identify the changes that you want to make.
Joanne came to the Cochrane area in 2005 from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. In Yellowknife, Joanne practiced in a community counselling centre and then transferred to a school setting. Joanne has play therapy training from Kingston Play Therapy Institute and has worked with children of all ages.
Joanne also has couples counselling training through the Gottman Institute. Keeping abreast of current best practices is important to Joanne, thus she attends regular professional development training.
Joanne enjoys outdoor pursuits such as hiking, camping, photography, and skiing. Above all else, Joanne values her time with her husband and children.
