Since it’s inception in 1990, White Iron has evolved from a local commercial production company into one of Western Canada’s largest film, television and new media production entities with an impressive list of international credits. White Iron delivers content for distribution on conventional television, cable and digital television, specialty channels, new media platforms, the classroom, boardroom, trade shows, conventions, international symposiums, non-profit fund-raising events or virtually anywhere a visual image can be viewed. White Iron is based in Calgary, Alberta just an hour from the Rocky Mountains, with a full time staff of twenty five, and is composed of six distinct groups:
Our network of writers, producers and directors provide White Iron Productions the creative and technical skills to produce television and non-broadcast programming at any level. From local, regional, national and international television commercial production to corporate communications, music videos, sponsored broadcast programs and field production, White Iron Productions offer full service creative, production and project management.
The White Iron Pictures division focuses on the production of series television, documentaries and docudramas, music and variety programs, interstitial projects, and other one off programming produced specifically for broadcast. Our programs continue to air on the major television networks and specialty channels in North America and enjoyed successful distribution internationally.
There is virtually no television post production project that cannot be accomplished by White Iron Digital. As one of the fastest-growing, most technically advanced post production facilities in western Canada, White Iron boasts Emmy-winning editing and creative services including broadcast design, opening titles, visual effect’s, animation and commercial and long form editing.
Stampede Concerts is a Calgary based major concerts promoter. With a focus on marquee talent and a multiplicity of genres, Stampede Concerts Inc. strives to bring Albertans the music industry’s top tier talent. Previous SCI productions include Bon Jovi, Diana Krall, Reba McEntire, Kenny Chesney, Tony Bennett, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson and the Tragically Hip. As the company looks forward to its upcoming line-up we hope to repeat the great success we have had with past performers like legendary duo The Judds, American rocker Kid Rock, emerging country superstars Sugarland and musical icon James Taylor for The Calgary Stampede.
