We are committed to promote and provide working conditions that will safeguard our employees, our clients and their employees as well as the environment, and will contribute to efficient and profitable operations. SDS Consulting Corporation is committed to operating in a safe, efficient and environmentally conscious manner that meets or exceeds the applicable legislative standards.

Management and employees share the responsibility for the protection of people and the environment. All employees are expected to anticipate, recognize, understand and eliminate or control hazards in our operations and those of our clients. All employees of SDS Consulting Corporation will be made aware of the potential health, safety or environmental implications of the industry through the use of training and procedures which meets or exceeds the regulatory requirements and the company’s policy.

All employees are responsible for following our rules and regulations and for working in a manner, which will eliminate or control hazards to themselves and other employees and control the potential for loss or damage to equipment and property. As a matter of daily practice, all staff, whether working at the office, client’s office or field are expected to fully support the efforts and policies of SDS Consulting Corporation.

Operations under the direct control of SDS Consulting Corporation will continually be reviewed for potential health, safety & environmental hazards, and procedures will be revised if required to minimize potential concerns. SDS Consulting Corporation’s consultants will discuss any unique aspects of projects with the Operator’s Representative to determine if any special equipment, procedures or training is required to undertake the project in a safe, health and environmentally sound manner.

Job Hazard Assessment & Task Analysis

On a dry windless day, a local farmer happened to drive his tractor by the tank and a spark from the engine ignited the vapor, injuring the farmer and causing serious damage to the tank and equipment. Some workers, who reported concerns about the number of injuries occurring, sought employment elsewhere and several key employees were lost due to long term injuries.
