Phoenix Foundation offers a large variety of educational services to support your child's needs, learning styles and the 21st century environment! Please review these services below and contact us if you have any questions or are interested in more information.

Classes

Classes are OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS - you do not have to be registered with us! Phoenix has 600+ exciting and unique curriculum based classes each year and are available to anyone who wishes to partake of them.  Come by and pick up a program guide or download one from our site.

Tutoring

Are there subject areas in which you or your child would benefit from individualized and one-on-one instruction? At Phoenix, we provide quality tutorial services to learners of all ages. We will work with you to build an individually tailored program plan. $12.50 per half hour for SD students.

Diagnostic Testing

Want to know what level your child is working at in math, reading, word recognition, spelling and more? The KTEA-II is an individually administered battery that gives you a flexible, thorough assessment of the key academic skills in reading, math, written and oral language. This service is available for children ages 4-6 through 25 (Comprehensive Form). Teachers provide an in-depth analysis of student results.

Fee $50.00 (free for Phoenix school-directed students.)

Alberta Distance Learning Library

Our ADL library can help you organize your school year. All of the books will help you see what you need to be teaching and give you a feeling of comfort and organization. Please feel free to contact us or to visit our front desk if you are interested in signing any of these materials out.

Support

Need support? We are here 4 days a week for support and encouragement. You can also reach your teacher on-line on Mondays via the Phoenix chatroom.

Wing Feather Program

Everyone likes to feel appreciated. So, here at Phoenix we have created the Wing Feather Program which allows students, staff and parents to formally recognize other students, parents and staff for their kind efforts. 

Room Rental

Do you have a service to offer but nowhere to host it? If you have a program or class and you need a place to hold it, why not check us out? Phoenix has a variety of rooms available that can accommodate a variety of services. The gym, classrooms, music room and computer room are a small sample of the rooms that we have available for rent.
