We provide the following services in wind resource data analysis:

Statistical Characterization

Using Windographer, we can produce graphical reports characterizing the statistics of your wind data, including wind shear patterns, daily and seasonal patterns, wind roses, Weibull distribution parameters, wind power density, and turbulence intensity. We can also do extreme wind analyses to predict the 50-year or 100-year wind speeds.

Data Processing

We can fill gaps in measured data, correlate with a long-term reference data set, and adjust to a long-term average.

Quality Control:

We can detect and report anomalous data elements, missing elements or gaps, and abrupt changes.

Economic Modeling

We can simulate the performance of one or more wind turbines in the measured wind regime to predict power production, capacity factor, payback, IRR, sensitivity to assumptions, and more.
