Evergreen has developed a CSA-approved methanol fuel cell solution to provide clean electric power at remote oil & gas well sites.

The Power Pod system monitors the charge level of the batteries, and converts liquid methanol directly into electric power as needed.

To do this it uses an efficient, safe, flameless low-temperature electrochemical reaction.

One common type of installation (Hybrid) may include typical solar panels such that the fuel cell backs up the solar automatically. It can easily retrofit onto existing solar sites.

The Power Pod offers better reliability than pure solar, and lower fuel consumption / GHG emissions than thermoelectric generators.

We have units operating in the field now with some major Oil & Gas producers, and also with Government Organizations (security applications).

We have also received some funding from CCEMC and other Government sources for R&D work.

EFOY PRO Fuel Cells - Evergreen Energy Technologies Inc

Evergreen can also supply EFOY PRO fuel cells and fuel cartridges for other applications that require custom integrated solutions. The EFOY Pro fuel cell has a nominal output of 12/24VDC at 600, 1600, and 2200 Wh/d (watt hours per day). Larger outputs are also possible with using multiple units with one shared controller.

In addition to our fuel cell systems, Evergreen can provide the other components that may be needed for a complete integrated hybrid power generating system. We can often integrate these items into our Power Pod units, resulting in less work at the site. Solar Panels: Typical sizes include 135, 270, 405, and 540W arrays in either 12 or 24VDC. Battery Enclosures: Holds 4 x 100AH batteries, standard insulated, optionally heated.
