Assess the Skill Gap

In order to best approach the process of building a strong in-house Labour Relations Team we take the time to assess the current structure and skill gaps with the organization's LR team.

Individual Education Plan

Once we have a solid understanding of the skill level within the group we map out an education plan which will close the skill gap, build individual self-confidence, and address the fundamental principles of Labour Relations from a very practical hands on approach to day-to-day labour relations activity. Direct feedback is provided to each individual and a development plan is agreed to. Commitments are made by each employee and the expectation is to stay committed to the plan.

Turning the Plan into Practice

This includes a mix of formal in-house training in the fundamentals of practical labour relations, one on one mentoring, and team building. Building team strength is premised on team participation in an exchange of dialogue, a sharing of ideas, and a constructive approach to learning for the entire group.
