The AMM3D OPTICAL 3D-GOLF™ analysis systems measure, analyze and provide data that sports, fitness and medical professionals use to study, understand and improve human motion. TPI 3D swing analysis reporting software provides various types of reports to display and document a golfer’s swing.

AMM3D OPTICAL 3D-GOLF™ uses a 4 or 6-camera configuration with reflective markers placed on the body to capture, measure and display the 3D motion of the golf swing. AMMCORE™ and Captor™ software calculate the biomechanical parameters from the captured motion data and then present the user with tables, graphs and animated 3D motion sequences. Using TPI 3D software with the TPI Tour Pro database, swings can be compared and differences highlighted in the comprehensive biomechanics reports. You can also compile a database for any group or create a baseline database for any individual’s own selection of best swings.

By analyzing the Kinematic Sequence in 3D, we can measure the ‘efficiency’ of the swing! This provides essential information such as, sequencing, coordination and energy transfer up through the major segments of the body. Identify physical limitations and instabilities so you know where to concentrate your efforts! This knowledge will help elevate biomechanical performance, improve accuracy, increase club head speed, and assist in preventing future injuries.

AmmTrainer3D™ plus AmmSensor

AmmTrainer3D™ plus AmmSensor™ uses real-time audio biofeedback tones to allow the golfer to feel the correct or wrong positions at all the key points during the swing. If the golfer is overturning the hips set the tone to bad and set the range to 60 to 120 now the phone will beep when the golfer overturns. The tone could be pleasant or obnoxious (negative tone); this allows the use of both positive and negative feedback.

It runs on both a laptop and a hand-held PC so you can take it with you, put the hand-held PC in your pocket and the sensor anywhere on your body and go to the driving range and practice your correct movements. The application is called AmmTrainer3D and it allows you to trained to feel different body positions by giving you an audio tone when you are in the correct position.

AmmGraph3D™ plus AmmSensor

This 3D (9 Degrees-of-Freedom (IMU = Accelerometer: Ax, Ay, Az; Gyroscope: Gx, Gy, Gz; Magnetometer: Mx, My, Mz; 250Hz ++)) inertial measurement unit samples at 250Hz and provides motion data by employing three miniature tri-axial MEMS chips to capture acceleration, the earth’s magnetic vector and angular velocity. AmmSensor™ combined with AmmGraph3D™ software will capture and display both the raw sensor signals.

This enables such applications as motion biofeedback or motion data logging with the sensor on your body, talking directly to a cell phone on your hip or a laptop on the desk. AmmSensor™ has been designed for high speed sports motion but can easily be switched to measure slower motion for rehabilitation applications.
