This equipment provides a secure, wireless method of alarm signal transmission. Wireless back-up is available for most systems and is an effective response to line cuts. If your telephone line becomes disconnected a standard system will be unable to report to the SecurTek Monitoring Station. However, with a Wireless back-up a cellular transmission will be made to our Monitoring Station informing an attendant of the emergency situation. The wireless back-up does not require a personal and active cellular telephone number.
SecurTek Internet Connect & SecurTek Cellular Connect
With the growth of VoIP services, more and more people no longer have a traditional POTS (plain old telephone system) telephone line. And with the impending shut down of the analog networks, there is a need to provide customers with an alternative to sending their alarm signals over the traditional phone line. SecurTek Internet Connect is taking the alarm signal and transmitting it over a secure Internet connection from the customer's alarm panel to the monitoring station. With the add-on of the cell back-up module, the customer will have a backup in case the Internet connection fails.
These reports inform you about who is arming or disarming your system. The signals are recorded by SecurTek's computer system and, if requested, matched to pre-determined times. In the event that your system is not armed or disarmed when expected or is armed or disarmed outside of an expected, pre-determined time, a SecurTek attendant will immediately call and notify you. This value added feature works great to ensure your children arrived home from school or reports if anyone entered your home, with a valid alarm code, while you were away.

This is available to residential and business customers who own their equipment. It covers labour and equipment charges as per terms and conditions on the back of the Customer Service Agreement for as long as the customer continues paying the monthly charges.
With SecurTek's Guard Service program, uniformed guards will be dispatched to the customer premise 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to verify an alarm signal and request police if warranted.
