Steel School of Irish Dance

The Steel School has been spreading their love of Irish Dance since the early 1980's. Dancers from the school have successfully competed in many competitions locally, regionally, and internationally.

The Steel School of Irish Dance caters to children and adults ages 4 and up. Dancers build strong friendships, get exercise, and have fun! We also offer students the opportunity to compete in solo and group dancing, however it is not required.

Classes at the Steel School of Irish Dance are designed to build upon skills learned from the previous class. Dancers learn at their own speed, and it is important to realize that it takes time and practice to perfect their skills. All students will become familiar with the following dance terms: Reel, Light Jig, Single Jig, Slip Jig, Set Dances, Treble Jig, Hornpipe.
