North Country Soapworks is family-operated business located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  We take pride in creating natural, organic soaps made from only the finest quality ingredients which we purchase locally.  All of our soaps are made in small batches to ensure quality and freshness, and we do not test our products on animals.  We have a network of family and friends who are more than willing to be test subjects - especially when we have new scents available for them!  You have my word that our product will be gentle on your skin, since my own children use the soaps regularly. 

We began making our handmade soaps in an attempt to alleviate the eczema and skin irritations suffered by my daughter since infancy.  After using handmade soaps for a period of time, her skin condition disappeared, and has been kept at bay with the use of the natural soaps.  It turns out that she did not have eczema for all that time, as we had thought, but instead was having reactions to the detergents and fillers in the commercially manufactured soaps that we were previously using. 

We do not use any animal products with the exception of goat milk in our goat milk soaps.  All oils used are vegetable/plant based oils of superior quality.  We strive to be environmentally friendly, so packaging is kept to a minimum. 

We always welcome retail inquiries and have excellent wholesale prices for retail vendors.  We are always happy to create custom orders for our clients.  Minimum 20 bar order.  Bars can be pre-cut for you, or soap logs can be scored to be cut by you later.  Please feel free to contact us for more information.
