About Indian Trail Carvings
- The name of our company, Indian Trail Carvings came about when it was discovered that the street we live on (Church St., North Gower) was known as Indian Trail Road in the 1800's
- We found good homes for our horses and turned the stable buildings into a classroom, workshop, and gift shop
- For our Soapstone carvings and Turnings we use a wide variety of different stones from around the globe including Brazilian Soapstone, Chinese Soapstone, Alabaster and South African Wonderstone
- For our wood carving projects, we work mainly in Basswood and Butternut
