We welcome you to the Edge of the Woods, where an atmosphere of comfort and simplicity awaits you. Located on the west side of Kaslo, nestled in the edge of the woods at the base of Mt. Buchanan, we're very close, 1mile/1.6km, to the lake and amenities of town.....a great walk. It is only 10 miles/16 km to Ainsworth Hot Springs, and about 50 minutes' drive to Nelson, B.C. We are active cyclists, kayakers, and walkers who enjoy sharing our knowledge about the area.
Our queen-bed suite with private entrance is bright and comfortable, and has everything you need for a quiet, restful stay. There is an old-fashioned cast-iron tub with shower in the ensuite bathroom.
Breakfast items are provided in your room, and include Emily's delicious homemade granola and yogurt, fruit, Kaslo Sourdough Bakery Breads, eggs from local free-range chickens, coffee and tea. The mini kitchen/amenity area has a fridge, microwave, and several small appliances, making it easy for you to prepare simple meals and snacks.
