Architectural and interiors are one of his specialties. He also particularly enjoys photographing people in their work places. This could mean corporate headshots or people doing their jobs.

Recently, Doug has photographed the new Vancouver Holt Renfrew store, exterior and interior for a Toronto agency. He also shot in the new Living Shangri-La tower for a manufacturer and is going to be photographing the venues for some well known winter sports
in Whistler.
His clients have included ad agencies, architects, and magazines such as Western Living, BC Business, Canadian Business, BC Home and others.
His theatre images are published regularly in The Georgia Straight, The Sun, The Province,and the Globe and Mail.
Doug usually works on location and can also provide portraits and headshots in his own studio.
Doug teaches digital photography at the False Creek Community Centre.
