"I sang as a child with the junior choir in my hometown. I loved singing from the beginning and went on to act and sing in musicals during high school. After that I did one play with the Little Theatre group and then nothing for twenty eight years. I always sang in the shower and a little among friends but never more than that."
"One day in the Autumn of 2005 my youngest daughter asked if we could go to Kersley (south of Quesnel), and audition for a production of Oliver (coincidentally the last play I was in). In what now seems like the blink of an eye we found ourselves attached to Kersley Musical Theatre."
"That association helped nurture the re-awakening of my love for musical performance. It is also what brought me to David Hatfield and a life-altering workshop in December of 2009. David came to Kersley and presented his workshop: The Singing Soul: Improvisational A Capella. That marvelous weekend lit a fire within me that has grown and now has me, at the age of fifty, seeking truth in my life for the first time."
"After listening to and following other people's truth for so long I have experienced a shift and find myself listening more to my heart and the little voices in my head. This new way has allowed me a fabulous Summer of 2010 filled with beautiful music and beautiful people."
"I love music! I feel Music is the natural expression of our happiness and joy as well as our sorrow and despair. It connects us, it teaches us, it inspires and chronicles change and it reminds us of the beauty that is within us all."
