Cards by Kids has an artist in residence at Canuck Place Children's Hospic once a week to teach the patients, their families and the volunteers new artist techniques in a number of mediums. This work gives everybody something to take away ... the volunteers learn new skills to engage the patients, and the patients and their families get to experience creating a new piece of art by learning a new skill.
