THE PRACTICE
BOURQUE BRUEGGER ARCHITECTS was established in 1991. The partners, Patricia Bourque, and Wilbert Bruegger, collaborate with their clients and other firms on small, medium, and large scale projects locally and in other planning jurisdictions.
As a firm, we are committed to a starting a project with the careful study of the client and user needs, and to begin with budget, and schedule, as prerequisites for a successful design process. Proceeding from pre-design, inquiry, and investigation, to schematic design using sketches and models, while moving through increasing levels of complexity and detail to delineate and explore the design objectives, reiterated and more clearly defined throughout the process. In addition we seek to explore the durability of the plan, materials, and methods in relation to the environment, historical context, and social and economic conditions.
