The Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site is located 15 minutes East of Drumheller, Alberta, Canada on Highway 10, along the scenic Hoodoo Drive.
Tour the last wooden Tipple in Canada, ride a restored 1936 Mancha mine locomotive, tour the underground conveyor tunnel and visit 7 original mine buildings. This is the largest museum of its kind in Canada and sure to be a memory maker.
The Museum is open from May to October. Tours can be prebooked throughout the year. School groups are more than welcome!
