About Apocalyps
Pink Sky, One year ago, on this day I uploaded this photo, the very first photo of what is now known as the apocalyps. Today, 336 photos, a couple cameras, and a whole lot of experience later, I post another photo. This photoblog has been through many changes and there are many more to come. Thanks everyone who visited, and all who commented. The photo I am posting today is the very first photo, apart from the regular group shots at family functions, that I have ever taken. The sky looked exactly like this when I saw it from my bedroom window. So I grabbed a camera and ran out so I could capture this once is a lifetime sight. The bottom right hand corner used to have a date but that was poorly photoshopped out a while ago.To celebrate one year of photos posted almost daily, I will be giving away three 8x10 prints to the first three North American visitors who leave a comment. Just to make this a little more fun, the comments will be sent to a moderation queue and the winners will be posted within the hour.Thank you everyone, not only the people who participated today, but also everyone who ever visited and left a comment. The positive encouragement is what influenced me to post a new photo the next day, and whenever the comments were negative, I only tried harder to post a better photo the following day. So once again, thanks.Congratulations to Mateusz, Joanna, and krys on winning the free prints. I had a lot of fun setting up this contest and I'm sure I'll do it again sometime soon.
