Annual Cannington Dog Sled Races and Winter Festival

Join us Jan. 28 & 29, 2012 at the Cannington Dog Sled Races & Winter Festival for a fun-filled weekend of dog sled racing, outdoor marketplace, horse and wagon rides, First Nations and Métis village set-up, outdoor stage, indoor children's warm up area, ice sculptures, outdoor children's activities, exotic petting zoo and Beer Garden and Comedy Night, as top teams from across North America compete for a $10,000 purse. The picturesque town of Cannington, Ontario (half an hour north of Whitby/Oshawa) welcomes thousands of spectators to the celebration, billed as one of the best of its kind in Canada.
