About A Place For Standardbreds
Located in Walkerton Ontario, we board and breed standardbred mares along with boarding for foals, weanlings, and yearlings. Some mares come just for the breeding and foaling season and some of our mares are year round residents. Our team ensures optimum health for each horse through our program of performance feeds, deworming and hoof care.
A Place For Standardbreds is also a training centre with a half mile jogging track and is well suited for large or small stables with young horses.
